Cirio is a business communication platform that helps organizations handle phone calls, SMS, and WhatsApp conversations with their customers. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how it is protected, and how you can have it deleted. It applies to the Cirio web applications and APIs, and to messages exchanged with businesses that use Cirio.

2. Data We Collect

• Account data — name, email address, phone number, role, and workspace membership for people who sign in to Cirio.
• Communication data — phone numbers, call metadata (time, duration, outcome), call recordings and transcripts where the workspace has enabled them, and the content of SMS and WhatsApp messages sent or received through the platform.
• Contact data — customer names and numbers that a business stores in Cirio to manage its own conversations and leads.
• Technical data — log and usage information needed to operate, secure, and bill the service.

3. Communication via WhatsApp Business Platform

Businesses on Cirio can message their customers over WhatsApp using the WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API) provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. When you exchange WhatsApp messages with a business that uses Cirio, the message content, your WhatsApp phone number and profile name, and delivery status information are processed by Cirio on that business's behalf and are also processed by Meta under its own terms.

Messages a business sends outside WhatsApp's 24-hour customer service window use message templates that Meta has reviewed and approved. You can stop receiving WhatsApp messages from a business at any time by replying STOP or by blocking the business in WhatsApp.

4. How We Use Data

• To deliver calls and messages between businesses and their customers.
• To show conversation history, assignments, and analytics to the business that owns the conversation.
• To meter usage for billing, prevent abuse, and keep the service secure.
• To comply with legal obligations, including telecom regulations.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your data to serve advertising.

5. Google API User Data Policy

Cirio's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

6. Data Sharing

We may share information with trusted infrastructure and service providers who help us host and operate our services, or as necessary to comply with applicable legal obligations.

7. Data Security & Retention

We implement standard administrative and technical measures to protect personal information. Data is retained for as long as necessary to fulfill service requirements or legal obligations.

8. Data Deletion & User Rights

You have the right to request deletion of your account and personal data at any time. To request data deletion, email us at connect@ciriotech.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". You can also disconnect third-party logins (Google / Meta) anytime directly from your Google or Meta account settings.
